1.Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels

2. Inverter
Solar inverters take the DC electricity from the solar PV array (i.e., multiple solar panels wired together) and use that to create grid-compatible Alternating Current (AC), which is what powers everything in your home.
Inverters are specified to maximize the PV output from the PV array while minimizing power losses. Solar inverters are sized and chosen taking into account the power capability of each solar panel, the operating temperatures, and the number of solar panels in each string (voltages).
3. Batteries
Solar PV systems produce electricity during the day when there is sunlight. Batteries are used to store energy generated during the day to be used throughout the night or on cloudy days when the system is no longer generating power.
The battery setup is sized using the size of the load requirement and autonomy. Autonomy is the number of days the system will work without electricity generation from solar. The generally recommended autonomy days are 2-5 days.
